      Marketing Interview

      25 Mar 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Galway
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I interviewed at ALISON (Galway) in Mar 2017

      Interview

This 'company' advertises jobs which do not exist. They will interview you for a position they have no intention of filling. They will waste your time. I spent over an hour with the CEO of Alison, interviewing for one of two jobs in my field of expertise which THEY had suggested might be of interest to me. At the end of the interview I was told that these positions did not exist, but that he enjoyed interviewing and meeting people with interesting backgrounds. Thanks a lot. To be clear, they currently have 48 positions advertised on their website. They are a small company with no more than 50 employees in total. You do the maths. These positions do not exist. To the CEO of Alison- Is this practice legal? Is it morally defensible? If it became public knowledge would it enhance your reputation? By the CEO's own admission, they are not well known in Ireland. One can only hope it stays that way.
