I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AMI Strategies (Livonia, MI)
Interview
The interview process is a personality interview. Very easy, not technical at all. Mostly just be able to speak and articulate yourself. And don't be afraid to ask for help while on the job
I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AMI Strategies (Livonia, MI)
Interview
Got an email asking if interested. Company sent out a very basic profile and screening package. Once completed, interview questions were emailed in advance, with a phone and in person interview conducted. Offer was received, but took over 2 months without any follow on communication.
What struck me most about the process was that it did not fit what one would expect from a technology company. The forms were over 10 years old, questions that should have been asked in person/phone were provided in advance, and the actual interview was more a conversation around how great it was to work at AMI. There was no probing or validating of my stated skills. A few questions are included.
Having now been here a while, I can tell this process was used for all hires.

Question 1
How would your friends and co-workers describe you?
We are committed to working out our problems with communication. Please tell us about a time when you ironed out a serious problem with someone using communication. Were you so successful addressing this problem that you would feel comfortable with us calling this person?
Please describe a time when you were under pressure to make an immediate decision (perhaps without the aid of a supervisor or a manager). Did you take action immediately or were you more deliberate?
