ANATOMY_IT interview questions

Contacted by recruiter, spoke to hiring manager, HR rep and then a few other managers after that. Straightforward process for the most part with recruiter and team keeping me informed of the steps.

after four preceding interviews, I was set to finally speak with the hiring manager. He cancelled 3 times the morning of the interview. Finally, I had a teams call with him. He asked a few hardball questions and then informed me that the person that he wants for the role is has direct experience selling to a certain type of service provider, experience that I did not have. Yet, no one that I had previously spoken with mad mention of this. Likewise, he certainly saw from my resume that although I have had many years of success selling cybersecurity to the healthcare market I did not have the specific experience he referenced. He is a few years out of college with an MBA an absolutely zero career experience selling anything....EVER! I suspect that my age had something to do with his decision.
