Recruiter phone call, which included basic questions/info. Then a 1:1 virtual meeting with hiring manager who asked typical behavioral questions about my experience but was largely distracted during our meeting. Was asked to prepare a case study as a last step and virtually present it to a panel. I made a real effort for my presentation but the instructions for the case study clearly didn't match what they wanted, as evidenced by the questions they asked me after my presentation. I clearly addressed the questions/instructions I was given when creating the presentation but they made it seem as if I hadn't done what was asked. It felt so off that I even went back to check the job description and saw they had changed it AFTER I had applied, which is a crazy thing to do. Job description wasn't finalized, hiring manager wasn't friendly, and the instructions for the case study weren't what they even wanted. Bad experience all around.
