I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Achievement First (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
AF has its recruiting act together, following up with candidates in-depth and preparing them thoroughly for their interview. After teaching a sample lesson of 20 minutes to a class, the students led a feedback session, which was followed by a more in-depth feedback session from the principal. There were uncomfortable moments of coaching, as I am a teacher in a district without much professional development. However, the feedback I got was something I immediately implemented in my classroom. While fairly intense, if you are a teacher with a desire to get better and high outcomes in your classroom, you are their ideal candidate.

I interviewed at Achievement First (Providence, RI)
Interview
The interview process seemed to be quite simple and straight forward. I spoke with a recruiter after I applied and did a phone interview with them before setting up an interview for in person with the principal. The entire process was pretty straight forward and explained prior to the in person interview.
