      Associate Consultant Interview

      13 Nov 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Jose, CA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2019

      Interview

I had a virtual interview with a Director and then they flew me to California for a half-day interview. For the half-day interview they asked us to prepare a presentation on a case study (15 min) and it took well over 8 hours to prepare. Honestly disappointed in the overall interview process, the process felt like very much like just a human pipeline and they were unclear with what my actual job would be. All of the recruiters were exceptionally slow at answering questions over email after I had been informed about my offer. They also did not acknowledge other offers that I had and timelines I let them know of well ahead of time. After I received my offer I asked to do a tour of the office I would be working in (not the office they flew me to interview with) the people at the office that gave the tour had no idea that they even hired so many of us and knew nothing about our roles or the program.

      Interview

Heard from a recruiter very late in the evening one night, had multiple interviews in the following days and was flown out less than a week later for a super day/ panel. Process was very disorganized and very short notice.

      Associate Consultant Interview

      5 Nov 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Singapore
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe (Singapore) in Sept 2014

      Interview

I first applied online, and got a telephone interview and a second round interview in the company. They care more about your technical skills (past projects, your favourite programming languages, etc) while caring about your soft skills as well. They expect you to know Java and some web development experience. Show that you are good in programming while not being a nerd, and show your passion and understanding of the company, you will definitely get an offer. The interviewer was super nice and friendly.
