A recruiter reached out to me about this position. I went through the entire interview process which included a few virtual interviews. I was informed I was a very strong candidate that they wanted to move forward with, but that a final in-person interview was a requirement. Having confidence that I was a strong candidate, I took a day of PTO for a four hour round trip commute for the final interview with 8 different people. After this interview, I received positive feedback and was directed to be patient while they worked on filling the manager role on the team. After waiting with unanswered follow-ups for 2+ months, I noticed that the position I interviewed for was reposted on LinkedIn at a higher salary range. An update on the status of where I stood in the process, without needing to request it multiple times, would have been greatly appreciated and reflective of the professional courtesy I was anticipating.
