I applied online through their website. About a month later, I was then contacted to set up a half hour phone interview with someone from HR. It was a rather simple interview with nothing unexpected and it went pretty well.
The next week I found out that I had been selected for a second round, in person interview at their company. The interview was scheduled for the following week and they sent me a detailed itinerary of who I would be meeting with and when.
The on-site interview started with an in depth tour of their facility and products led by Lead Engineer. This was followed by half hour interviews with multiple engineers from multiple departments, about 1-2 people per interview. The whole interview process took a little over two hours. It was all very casual and I thought everything went really well. I even brought some of my previous work to show them. They told me they would have a meeting next week and then get back to me, although they didn't specify when.
Overall I thought the whole process went very well, but what makes this experience a negative is that even after following up multiple times, by phone and email, I have yet to hear back from them. It's been 2 months of silence, not returning any of my multiple emails and phone calls to everyone that I had contact info for. I have never had a company not get back to me one way or the other after having an in person interview, and it is simply unacceptable.
My only clue as to not being hired is I saw another job posting from them for the same job with the same job description. I know I wasn't the only one interviewing, so I'm not sure why they would still be looking or why I didn't hear anything back. It's very unprofessional and completely unacceptable, which is a shame since I was very interested in this company and the work they do.
