Affinity Staff Engineer interview questions

Hiring process was all over the place. I spoke to a director who claimed they are looking for staff engineers. When the recruiter sent the invite it was for a lower level position. Got them to check if they really have a staff position or not was told yes and finally rejected for not having such an opening. That was a 4 hours wasted.
