I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aflac (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
Initial interview is really just a presentation about what it is like to work there. They just want to sell the position. However you have to pay for all your training, and your compensation is all commission based. They also said Aflac is the third most recognized world brand, behind Mcdonalds and Coca Cola, which I find hard to believe.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Would you like to come back for a one on one interview?
It was a very odd process. They conduct their interviews in groups which I’ve never seen before. Honestly they seem desperate to me which I did not like. It is also all commissioned based with no salary. Very awkward to ask questions since it’s done in a group.
Met with district regional manager, in person interview, business professional attire. typical interview questions (i.e. strengths, weaknesses, how do you communicate with people, etc). Overall, not difficult and this was for an internship.
sat with multiple people going through the process. It was just the info session, but it was informative. invited to go through another round of interviews, but did not proceed.
