I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Agero
Interview
The entire process took 2 months. Recruiter reached out about a position and later was told that I was recommended for a different role. I had to do a case study, followed by an one-hour panel presentation and a round of virtual interviews. There was a lack of transparency throughout. I was left in the dark not knowing my status nor received any feedback after each stage. One time I got a request to submit availability without giving any information on what that was for. After the final round, recruiter said they would respond in a week, and then it was radio silence for weeks. Finally got an email saying they don't have other open roles and have filled the role. The hiring process is broken and the company does not respect candidate's timeline or experience
Thank you for the feedback. Candidate experience and providing feedback are at the core of what we do, so I am very disappointed to hear of your experience. If you are interested, I am happy to chat live and discuss the specifics of your process so I might provide more direct feedback to the team. I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Agero (Medford, MA) in Oct 2017
Interview
An internal recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and set up a call. He walked me through Agero as a company, its business challenges and opportunities, and where he thought I could make a difference. He was transparent from the start regarding opportunity, the team, compensation, and where I stood in the process. The lifecycle was a bit long, over 2 months from initial call to start date, but I always knew where I stood thanks to the superior communication of my recruiter. I have a lot of trust in this team and it was a universally positive experience. I really appreciated the ability to position myself, skillset, and strengths to make a maximum impact on the team. They ended up writing a job description for me customized to my strengths and the business needs.
