Interview
There are three rounds in the interview process (it is common irrespective of the position you have applied for)
First Round-Written Test. This includes partly technical and partly aptitude. (2 hours test)
Second Round-You are given a task based on the position you have applied. I was asked to design a COPV LOX and Kerosene tank. (4 hours)
Third Round- Team Project. The entire group is asked to "DESIGN A ROCKET" that is LIGHTER in its orbital class, CHEAPER and FASTER (4 hours)

Question 1
Can you draw a triangle whose angles do not add upto 180 degrees?
You are standing on Earth. You walk 1 mile south, one mile west and one mile north. You end up back exactly where you started. Where are you standing? Give all the possible answers.
Assume that the Earth is a perfect sphere. You drill a hole from the North pole to the South pole and throw a ball of 1 kg mass. Will the ball come back? Calculate the amount of time it takes to travel. There is no atmosphere. Just pure gravity.
What is the deltaV required for the launch of rocket from Shriharikota as compared to that from the Equator. (Shriharikota is 13deg north of the Equator)
You are put inside a spaceship with no windows. You are first made to orbit a planet. You are then put in a body and sent into deep space where there is gravitational field of any planet. Will you experience the two differently? How?
