The final two were where things started to get really weird. One engineer told me that it was his first time interviewing SDETs and said his partner was an SDET at google and that her role was canceled?? I get it that at big companies like Google, Facebook roles like SDETs don't exist but please remember that 1) you are not FANG 2) why bother interviewing for this role Made it very awkward for me, and in the last round, there was an engineer and a lead engineer. The lead turned up for the last 5mins of the interview, very unprofessional, and looked totally disinterested in the interview.
