I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines in Jan 2022
Interview
The First thing you do is wait in the lounge area of The Hub and socialize with the other candidates. They then bring you in and assign you tables of 4 or 5 people and present an orientation, going over benefits, the company values, etc. After that you have a small group activity and answer one question for each person. They then have you go into the snack bar area and socialize with current flight attendants, as well as ask them questions. They then call people in one at a time for one-on-one interviews. If you make it to a second one-on-one you wait some more for that interview and then they call you in. You conduct the second one-on-one and then get the "thanks but no thanks" or "you've got the job!" And fortunately I got the job offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Two virtual interviews that included an AI interview, a personality questionnaire and a “test” of your ability to use resources provided to answer flight-related questions. After that you’re invited to an in-person interview.
The interview process is lengthy and in depth. They really dive deep. Overall, it was a great experience and ensured that they find the right fit. I did end up accepting and am awaiting training.
