Contacted by recruiter…met with hiring manager. Was asked the “frog in a well” question (they’ve been using this for 2+ years - VP had it in his deck, too).
Interviewed with VP - informal chat, not hardball PM interview questions. Apparently made the cut, interviewed with two other leaders who are senior to the position I was interviewing for. Both chats, not hardball interviews. One, innocently, talked about me as if I’d been offered the job and would be joining the company. “Email me with any questions you have - I’ll let you know the good and bad.” Very smart, engaging and charming people. VP Product has a clear vision and metrics to get there.
After all that received a form letter from HR saying “ we don't see a strong fit right now.” But they apparently didn’t know that after VP conversation? Process took over 6 weeks.

Started with a call with recruiter followed by an interview with the manager and a third with separate team member. It took around a month from first introduction with recruiter to an offer.

Overall interview process was a good experience! There were three rounds of interviews before an offer was presented. Everyone I interviewed with was super friendly - it did not feel like they were just reading through a script, and they were generally interested in me as a person.

They asked a lot of questions, but one of the questions/scenarios that can often stump interviewees is "Give me an example of a challenge that you had at work that you were able to overcome."
