I was excited to interview with Altis, but the screening was disappointingly one-sided.
The recruiter was a Fresh out of uni, clearly inexperienced, and completely misinterpreted my background.
She asked a bunch of irrelevant questions, gave no real engagement—just kept repeating "no problem!" after reach of my responses like a robot. I have never experienced anything like it!
The kicker? I was told my extensive admin experience somehow wasn’t “administrative enough.” If the hiring manager had assessed me, fine—but I never got that chance.
Altis needs to rethink their internal interviewing process if they want quality hires, they should seriously reevaluate who’s doing the screening. Founder, take notes. 🚩
