I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Income Life (Long Beach, CA) in Dec 2023
Interview
It was a joke. It was a cattle call. It was as if they just called in everyone with a resume that knew how to use a phone. And for what purpose? They were looking for "Agents" who would eventually recruit other agents to "to build their own agency", and then hire people who would hire other people, all the while moving "up the ladder" agent, Supervisory Agent, Manager, Senior Manager, all the while still recruiting other agents all making more employees, Management Supervisors, MLM PERIOD.

Question 1
What's your schedule? Have you ever worked in sales? Etc. Etc. and then at the end, they tell you You're Perfect, you just have to take their licensing classes, get licensed, pay the state for license, pay for classes.
Yeah! Great Opportunity!
I interviewed at American Income Life (Springfield, IL)
Interview
First I received a phone call to ask some general questions and set up the in person interview with the boss soon after. This went fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The in person interview with the office manager/boss was the worst interview I've been on. He was very late and upon arriving walked right by me without so much as a glance. He also never acknowledged he was late or apologized in any way when the interview finally started. He did 95% of the talking and was not personable or friendly in the least. I was asked very few questions. When the subject of compensation came up he admitted that the amount listed in the ad was not quite accurate, it was actually a lower amount. I was not sorry to never hear from them again.

Question 1
Any question was a surprise, as I was given little chance to speak at all.
