I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Americans for Prosperity Foundation (Arlington, VA) in Feb 2014
Interview
The interview process for mid-level positions involved paid travel to Arlington, VA headquarters. Interviewers were chosen from different sectors of the company, not just HR. I felt like they were really trying to get to know how I would align with the culture. My initial interview was before the process was formalized, so my knowledge of the current process comes from those who were hired more recently. The Market Based Management system described in the book Good Profit by Charles Koch will familiarize the interviewee with the lingo of the organization, and I highly recommend reading it.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Americans for Prosperity Foundation (Arlington, VA) in Oct 2015
Interview
It was a phone interview which lasted about 20 minutes. Covered common questions, asked me why I wanted to work for Americans For Prosperity Foundation. Overall simple process. Wasn't scripted which was great. It felt more like a conversation rather than an interview
