I have enjoyed all the interviews with different interviewers, it was really a pleasure to talk to them all. I also found the recruiter very engaging and helpful. He kept me up-to date at any point of time so really a positive experience when it comes to the interviews.
Now what I believe could have been handled better:
7 interviews for a Customer Success Manager role is excessive in my view and not really needed to make a hiring decision.
I have spent a lot of time for interview preparation and even two technical courses on their website what was recommended by the recruiter which was fine as I was confident I would be a good candidate for the role and was very interested in the content.
However, to hear that the three last candidates (Including myself) in the interview process have all not received an offer as they need a more technical person is somehow wrong. My advise would be to be very clear what you are looking for before conducting 7 interviews with a candidates.
I still see this as a positive experience due to the interviews and could have seen myself working for Apollo but accept their decision of course.
