The interview process was very smooth and professional. I truly appreciate that this is the first company I’ve seen that provides constructive feedback even after a rejection — that speaks volumes about the culture and candidate experience. One observation I'd like to share: The interview expected the candidate to write fully running code and explicitly instructed to run it. While I understand and respect the intent behind this — ensuring practical implementation — I personally believe interviews should place more emphasis on logical problem-solving, appropriate data structure usage, and writing clean, maintainable code. Minor syntax errors or missing print statements shouldn’t overshadow the candidate’s approach or understanding. I’m an interviewer at a big tech, I focus more on the problem-solving journey and overall design rather than complete syntax precision under time pressure.
