I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Applebee's (Detroit, MI) in Jun 2016
Interview
I came in and met with the hiring manager. We sat down and briefly discussed my previous work history. It felt like a conversation really. He asked general interview questions, and we just talked about life.

Describe a time where there was an upset customer. Explain how you diffused the situation.
“The interview process typically starts with an application review, followed by an interview with the manager to assess customer service skills, availability, and experience. Depending on the role, there may be situational or behavioural questions to understand how candidates handle teamwork, fast-paced environments, and customer interactions. Successful candidates may then proceed to onboarding and training.”
Did an interview with assistant manager, lasted five minutes and they wanted to do another interview with the head manager.
Only asked me two questions which was weird, I never had an interview like that before.
Pretty pointless imo and I don't think they respect your time well - from reading other reviews it seems quite unconviential though so maybe it was just a weird store.
The interview process was quick and easy. They had me come in the morning and ask very basic questions about my previous experience in the industry and some behavior questions
