Very unprofessional recruiters. I was set to have a meeting at a specific time, was there on time and waiting for an additional 20 minutes. Emailed the recruiter several times during that 20 minutes asking if now was still a good time but no response. They finally responded 25 minutes later saying they were on and waited 6 minutes, but they didn’t reply to my email and I told them I was waiting in their lobby and had to accept me while I was waiting. After that they tried saying it was my fault and that I clicked on the wrong link. If you look at a Google link invite, there is only one link attached so not sure how that would happen on my end if I could click the only link they sent me. Pretty sure that’s an error on their part. Very unprofessional and a total waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Apporto in Feb 2024
Interview
• This was the initial interview.
• The interviewer didn't share his screen due to latency issues, very impersonal and one sided. Seems to be the norm.
• Seemed to quickly read off a script on what the company is and does.
• Asked a series of questions on how long I have used different tools/technologies without follow-up.
• Then started pasting questions into chat.
• First text question – Open Playwright and write a simple test that goes to a website and validates and element on the page. Google Meets was my personal computer and isn’t set up for any development. I would have had to download an IDE, Node.js, NPM and then Playwright. No mention of any coding in the Google Meet description. Skipped it because of the time it would take to setup and then code.
• Next series of text questions were priorities given four different things to work on. No follow up just rank A, B, C, D. Half of the things I told him I would have done concurrently.
• Then back to questions on how I felt my experience was on the different tools/ technologies based on 1-10 scale.
• And the final question was what they would be missing out on if they didn’t hire me.
• Said he would pass on information to hiring manager, thanked me and ended meeting.

Question 1
Open Playwright and write a simple test that goes to a website and validates and element on the page.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Apporto in Aug 2023
Interview
Ghosted after 3 interviews. The first interview was a bit strange, the interviewer didn't have his camera on. They asked me to write multiple short scripts in various languages. The interview questions were mostly asking about the number of years of experience I had for each item on the job description. In the second and third interviews they asked a lot of questions that were specific to their infrastructure, almost like they expected me to have experience at the company already. Between the lack of communication between interviews, and poorly thought out questions I wouldn't have proceed with future interviews, but it's still frustrating to be ghosted that far along in the process.
