Good - line management/ the business are very switched on and effective. Applied online, received a response to my application within 48 hours. MS Teams interview with the hiring manager, initially scheduled for 30 mins, we were speaking for 1hr 20 mins. Hiring manager wanted me to speak to his manager, and this call was scheduled for later on the same day, once again scheduled to last 30 mins, but the call lasted somewhere in the region of just over 1 hour. The feedback was positive, and I was invited to their Holborn offices which are stunning and over two floors. I arrived promptly, with 10 or so minutes to spare, I think there were some technical issues with the VC equipment as my interview start was delayed. The final interview included the two managers I had already met as well as the VP. All interviewers were welcoming, friendly, hospitable and generally really pleasant. The role play element lasted somewhere near to 20 mins, with the remainder of the interview spent openly discussing the role play aspect, and potential fit to the team, coupled with alignment over expectations. All in all, it was a very positive experience and I left feeling upbeat. I quickly received a follow up message, explaining that they had a few other candidates to consider, and that I’d receive a decision within a week. I received an email (bit disappointed as it was a generic template) explaining they were progressing forward with someone else better suited which is fine, although, out of professional courtesy, where a candidate has incurred expense on travel and time, after three rounds, I’d expect a feedback call from HR explaining where I fell short and/or could improve. The email gave no tangible feedback that I could use to better improve myself as a professional which doesn’t reflect the vibe I received from management. Nonetheless, it was a good experience and I enjoyed my time interviewing.
