Offered an interview for the role which was straightforward and simple to arrange. On the day- I arrived 15 minutes early, and I was stood waiting for 10 minutes whilst the receptionist appeared to be speaking to someone they knew over the phone, it was only by chance the interviewer passed by to then direct me. I was then directed to a room where the interview was to take place, whilst the interviewers got them selves a coffee I was not asked if I would like a refreshment or water. I also needed the toilet but it would have been too awkward to then suggest this by that point. Not very accommodating. The interview itself felt a bit empty, and I did not feel the questions were related to the role itself, and didn't feel the questions would indicate how I would work in the role. It was more so question/answer, with no elaboration or room for discussion in between. It did not seem like the interviewers were interested in me and that perhaps they already had candidate pre selected, but this may be my subjective view for not being selected for the role. I am generally an open minded person who sees things from all perspectives and understand that someone may have been better suited for the role, but felt like my time was wasted and this interview could just have easily taken place over skype.
