I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Asana in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied via referral. The whole process took 6 weeks, no offer. In the end they provide me feedback about my interviews, which is a huge plus.
1. Homework assigment for 1 hour, matrix-traversing. Easy, but you need to provide clean code.
2. Talk with HR. Just check if I can speak English and some formal details
3. Techinical phone interview. Algorithm + system design.
4. Skype interview with 2 different devs. Interview, code session, interview
Questions were interesting and various. They were closer to real work. For example: "Imagine that I work in frontend and you need to provide me api as you work in backend".
I enjoy the whole applying process, responses were quick, HRs were nice. Process last long cause of New Year holidays.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Asana (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
The recruiter was very responsive to my emails. I took my interview a few days after the recruiter contacted me. They emailed me their decision a few business days after my interview. The process was clear, apparent, and fast!

2. Phone Interview. One Algorithm question and one design question.
3. Video Interviews x2. Each interview was a combination of algorithmic and design questions.
4. Reference Check
