      Talent Researcher Interview

      31 Aug 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asana

      Interview

The first round is a phone screen with one of the hiring managers - due to tricky scheduling, this ended up being a two-part process, which worked out well as it allowed for increased depth on both ends. From there, it was a two-part in-person interview, the first with the hiring manager (which involves a case study for skill) and the second with a team member, which is more background and standard. A few days after the in-person, I was contacted by the hiring manager to set up a call which led to them sharing the news that I was not selected for the position. The person I spoke with offered reassurance on my job hunt as well as feedback on my interview performance, as well as clarity into why the decision went the way it did.
