I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Asana (Vancouver, BC) in Feb 2019
Interview
1 or 2 phone interviews and then a design test. I put a lot of time and effort into the design test and in the end they had no legitimate feedback on why I failed. It was frustrating.
We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that your experience was not of the quality you expected. Thank you for taking the time to interview with us.

Application Review -> Recruiter Phone Call -> Portfolio Deep Dive -> Onsite Interviews -> Hiring Team Review -> Offer Extension
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Asana in May 2024
Interview
Received an internal referral. Got contacted by recruiter several weeks later when they already had an offer out to a candidate. Call went great and was told if the candidate declined, I'd talk with the hiring manager. Was told I'd receive an update and was ghosted instead. Bad form especially from an internal referral.
