Interview
first there is a written test consisting of aptitude and technical question .apti mostly time work ,boat and speed time and technical was general questions mostly.there was a panel of four members including the hr.interview was approx for 20-25 mins which included both hr and technical questions.out of 13 they selected 5.

Question 1
explain diesel cycle and detailed questions about the various strokes ,like approx pressure at start and end of suction .then there were questions on turbo and superchargers and some questions on topic of your choice .for me it was powerplant engg.and also recent automobile topics were asked like the Volkswagon scandal then there were few hr questions about locational constraints and other personality questions.
First there was written test conducted by monster india. The test comprised of 97 questions to be solved in 60 minutes, which included 47 technical and 50 aptitude english and reasoning question.
The selected students then went for GD. 8 members in each group.
This was followed by Extempore round in which a random topic is given and one has to speak in it for couple of minutes.
The last stage is personal interview(PI) both technical and HR by panel member consisting of 4 to 5 members which are of GM grade.

Introduce Yourself.
Questions were mainly from Production Technology(manufacturing- Casting welding and forming, machine tools and principle, industrial, material science),
Basic and advancement in Automobiles(as it was my area of interest along with manufacturing)
IC engines, basics of cycles, family background, job location, why not higher studies? etc.

Interview
Online reasoning and mathematical test followed by a 1-minute extempore/JAM and an interview based on academics and resume. Test was of moderate difficulty. The interview is easy to crack if one has a good hold on the basics of engineering. Interviewers were equally friendly.
