Typical questions as to behavioral type questions, Tell me about a time, Can you provide an example as to when you had a supplier requesting a material price increase, how did you handle? Questions were not difficult, the employer is very confused about what / how they want to proceed.

Tell me how you handle negotiation with suppliers? Describe how you have sought cost savings historically? Hiring manager was not prepared, company does not have robust strategic planning as this position has been vacant for nearly 9 months...(retirement -- an indication as to how this company operates). Culture appears to be poor...when asked why do you wake up and want to come to work every day...response shorter drive than my old employer, really WOW that is the reason you work here?
