I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Austin, TX) in Dec 2018
Interview
Overall, the interview process was really positive. The first part, the online assessment, was 5 questions, choose 3, and luckily 3 of the questions were much easier than the other two. Then I advanced and had a phone call with a recruiter. She was super helpful and knowledgeable. Then I advanced to a phone interview with an engineer. Definitely hit some road bumps, but I felt like he just wanted to know how I thought through problems and handled obstacles. Last step was an onsite in Austin. There was a technical interview that was also very doable, a behavioral interview with standard behavioral questions, and a presentation on a project. I was most anxious for the project presentation, but it was more a conversation than a presentation. And my project was not super elaborate, just a project for a web development class, so just presenting something you know about and can speak about for 30 minutes seems to be enough. The office is really beautiful and I had a diverse array of interviewers. Everyone was friendly and actually listened, so that was dope.
Recruiter reached out to me then ghosted in the middle of trying to set up a meeting. Very disrespectful of my time. Just as well, how a company treats candidates is usually a good indicator of how they treat employees
Didnt get past OA, heard now has ai process. People are good but company is going downhill. Unfortunate for all good culture fits there s a lack of opportunity admist apex reviews to produce meaningful work.
Nice interviewer but i did not get an offer. good experience anyway i think.
I have heard good things about the company culture so i think it would be a good place to work
