Attended an area job fair at a local University. AvalonBay was one of several companies I planned to meet. By far and above the demeanor of the two individuals I met and spoke with were stellar. They made the initial approach easy and comfortable. The gentleman I spoke with was in management, he had just returned to the company and was excited to be back, his excitement showed in his conversation. I left my resume as requested. I also followed up with the recruiter the following day as instructed and again submitted my resume. That recruiter contacted me w/in 24 hours, and had me formally apply online, in hopes to get me in for an upcoming Open House, being held at an area Avalonbay community. I completed all online requirements including an assessment. Upon completion, I was contacted by the recruiter and invited to the Open House just 2 days later. Had the pleasure of meeting with a Community Manager that had attended the Job Fair as well. After our exchange which included a series of behavior questions, I met with the Recruiter. She informed me that based on my experience, and quality of interview, I was being considered for a Sales and Service Supervisor position. She scheduled a second interview for the very next week. I attended, met with a Community Manager and a Director.
Again the interview was comfortable, informative and direct. I was offered a position the next day, verbally, with a written offer the following morning
