I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Avanade (Orange, CA) in Nov 2021
Interview
Started with a 45 minute call with the recruiter asking about things on my resume and some soft skills
Next steps were a 50-minute talk with a consultant where we get to lead the interview and learn about the typical work day and other opportunities.
Final steps were two back-to-back interviews: a soft-skill interview followed by a technical interview, both 30minutes. In every case, the interviewer was extremely amiable and would engage with your solutions/responses to get a better understanding of your thought process rather than just evaluating the end product.

Question 1
A program generates a random number between 1-100. You have ten guesses to get it right.
Avanade was respectful throughout the process. The first interview was very standard, they just asked a few questions about my resume and college experience.
The second one was supposed to be a coding interview but there was a scheduling issue and it was postponed.
Eventually I went in to the office and had my in person interview. Since they had never been able to give me the coding interview I was just asked some coding questions in person. I was able to answer the coding questions pretty easily and then they went pretty in depth on behavioral questions.
All in all I think it was unusual, but everyone was very kind, welcoming and attentive throughout the process.
