After filling in an in depth online application, and completing a variety of online tests, I was invited to to a short pre-recorded online interview. It consisted of the usual competency questions, and I found it to be an enjoyable process.
I was invited to an assessment centre at a hotel in reading in February 2018. This consisted of a presentation the night before, and dinner and drinks with the co-ordinators and some current graduates. It was extremely informative, and the graduates were very kind and welcoming. They were a credit to the company.
The assessment centre the next day consisted of a group task, single interview, written task and individual presentation. Each task was very well done, and really gives you a feel of what working for BAE Systems is like.
I received a call the next day to offer me a place on the programme, and throughout the initial acceptance process I found BAE top be very communicative and helpful.
I didn't accept the offer, because I had an offer at another company that I felt would suit me more. However, the job sounded extremely interesting, and I would highly recommend BAE Systems to future graduates.
