Interview
This was more or less a general chat to see what you are like. no technical questions. It was in a very relaxed environment and the two interviewers were very nice

Question 1
How do you feel when unexpected difficulties arise?
First stage was to upload a CV to an incredibly basic website. After that there was a short phone interview done by a recent graduate employee asking general questions about my degree/interests, what I knew about consulting etc. Final stage for me was an interview with two interviews. One guy was nice but didn't say anything, the other guy was useless and rude. He had no idea what role I was applying for, had no idea that the company even did a summer placement scheme and did not work in a department even related to what I wanted to do. Despite the graduate at the careers fair telling me that they were just interested in intelligent people and he had no software experience when I arrived, my intelligence was not tested and the interviewer just repeatedly asked me why I did not have more software experience. The answer that I want to do a summer placement to learn more was not accepted.
