Applied online. Video interview 2 weeks later. Invited for onsite. Smooth process. On-site: One day, starting with technical presentation. Enthusiastic audience, except for the (inexperienced) jittery hiring manager asking odd questions, without listening (Q:You say you know this but you didn't talk about it, A: ummm, I can't present every little detail of 7 years of research in 45 minutes?) to make sure I know my stuff. I chalked that up to personality quirks. Interview with 9-15 people in small groups of 2-3 (don't know exactly how many, full day of interviews). On average, good experience.
