The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital in Feb 2012
Interview
Did a phone interview, working interview (observation). Was told I'd know the following week, got the offer a few days later.
Background check & drug test, started the week after those were done and the results were given back to the employer.
Very laid back. Didn't get asked the typical, What are your strengths or weaknesses bs. Lol. Was focused on what I knew, what I had to offer, length of time I wanted to stay at banfield.
I did do my research and it isn't the best paying job to start off with, and it is a very stressful job. The few hours I was there it was very busy, but I like busy! I'd rather be meeting with all the different patients then sitting around waiting for them.
I wasn't offered the job right away so I did stress about it, but in the end I did get it! :)
I applied online. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital
Interview
The interview was in-person just like regular phone interviews. They first ask you to introduce yourself and describe your experiences. Then, they ask about certain skills like catheter placement, blood draw, and surgery monitoring. I think it lasted about 20-30 minutes.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself and describe your experiences.
I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Miami, FL)
Interview
The interview was conducted by both a hospital manager and veterinarian. The questions seemed pretty standard for this position. All in all a straightforward interview. The employees there seemed content.

My manager was super nice and responsive when it came to the hiring process. I went from application to hired in less than a week. Great experience. Would recommend to others if they love animals
