I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Mesa, AZ) in Apr 2013
Interview
Initial communications consisted of applying online(including a cover letter and resume). I then received a call around 2 months after I applied online ( this call could have happened sooner if I, possibly, went in and asked to introduce myself to a manager). After I received a call from the main HR department, I was asked to complete a phone interview with the desired location. After the phone interview I was placed at a hospital as a vet assistant of my closest choice. HR did a great job finding me a position once my phone interview was complete. I then interviewed in person in which I wore proper attire (black slacks, button up blouse with black half jacket and nude heels). Questions were ranged from, "why do you want this position?" to "What would you do in a difficult situation with a customer complaining about a wait time to be seen by a doctor." I simply answered to the best of my knowledge from past experiences and truthfulness. I made sure to make eye contact as much as possible, smile, and send a thank you letter via e-mail to my interviewer. Two days passed when I then received a job offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Millbury, MA)
Interview
Went in for an in person interview, the manager was nice. The hospital is in a pet smart so I thought the set up of it was a little weird but not the worst. I stayed for around 45 minutes after the interview. There was definitely some coworkers who didn't work well together. The lab was messy/unorganized. I emailed a week later to get an update about the postion and never heard back.

Phone interview, then in person interview. Phone was gauging general interest and seeing if I was someone they would like to show the office to. In-person had more technical questions and got to know me better.
