I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2023
Interview
Interview process was brief and straightforward they had me come in on a holiday because they forget it was a holiday. I didn’t complete the interview due to me pursuing my MBA and them not believing I could balance the two once I informed them.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Sarasota, FL) in Mar 2018
Interview
There was only an interview, which lasted approximately 7 minutes. Pat, the company rep conducting the interview gave a brief description of the company and it's services. She then went on to discuss what the job opening consisted of. First I would have to get licensed to serve as an agent with the company, after being licensed to conduct business in the state of Florida I would then need to attend in-house classes with the company. After completion of those 2 items I would then serve as field rep, pounding the pavement to make contacts with folks approaching the age of 65 in order to enrole them in one of the company's retirement plans. No leads are given, contacts are your sole responsibility. You use your own vehicle, I believe there is a mileage reimbursement. You work on commission basis, not a very attractive job offer. Overall, this was a waste of time as far as job interviews go. This company only wants to recruit bodies to send out hustling their services.
