Question 1
Tell me about yourself. Why are you interested in this product? How do you work on a team? How do you receive feedback? How do you rate your technical skills (Adobe Illustrator)?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Basic Resources in Oct 2024
Interview
I had a great experience interviewing with Basic Resources. HR constantly communicated and checked in with me at every step and kept me up to date. Overall, it was very professional.
There were three interviews, each a week apart:
1) I was contacted and interviewed over video call by HR. I was asked general screening questions about my experience and explained the role to me. It took about 30 minutes.
2) I went in to the office and spoke with the senior designer that I would be working under. I was able to learn more about the role and gain insight on the company. I was able to see the products/packaging and went over my portfolio. It took almost an hour.
3) I interviewed with the art director and senior designer from last time over video call. This one seemed more like an introduction to the art director than an interview. It took 15 minutes.
