I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Battelle (Crystal City, VA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Three step process, a phone interview with HR followed by the manager, an onsite interview for which they asked me to set aside 90 minutes. They set me up with three people to speaks to individually (30 mins each?). They were not very prepared for the interview and kept asking the same question (Why this job? why leave your current job? ). The interview ended well before 90 minutes but it was still so inefficient and frustrating answering same things to three different people who did not seem to care too much. They kept asking if I had any questions, when they saw that they were left with time on hands- only to not answer the questions clearly at all. By the time I walked out I was sure they were not serious about my candidature in the first place.

Question 1
Do you have any questions for me? Why do you want to leave your current job? Why did you choose this position ?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Battelle (Fort Detrick, MD) in Mar 2023
Interview
Over the phone and video interview with 3 rounds of interviews. Took about 2.5 hours to complete. Questions ranged from technical to personal (which was not appreciated). Seemed a bit overdone for an associate position.
The interview process was very straight forward because they try to find direct fits for job postings because it was a government contract. The individuals who conducted the interview were very knowledgeable about the posted job and about HR related questions.
