      Solution Engineer Interview

      15 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Behavox

      Interview

I recieved a Linkedin message and then a call from a recuriter. They showed very interested in my CV. Then I was scheduled for a call with a hiring manager. He was nice. He explained the company and the hiring process. He said that somewhere in the middle I should do a 2-day project, which should be submitted in two weeks. I told him that I do not have time to spend for a trial 2-day project and I decided not to proceed. Just, my perception. Are you they serious? 2-day project. That's enough to solve a real-life problem. Maybe, the company is looking for cheap employees.

      Solutions Engineer Interview

      7 Oct 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Singapore
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at Behavox (Singapore)

      Interview

The company is totally unethical and has zero respect for its own as well as other people's commitments. I applied for the company through a recruiter for a senior role. The role is based in Singapore. The whole selection process was exceptionally long with multiple C-level executives participating in the selection process all boasting big and bright future with tons of promises. Took two and half months of a continuous selection process (no long waiting times in between) involving late-night calls, lengthy assignments covering multiple domains, etc. Then they got silent, no one replied to emails, no information sharing at all. After more than one and a half months, they come back with multiple excuses and hiring interest. Based on the long selection process, I trusted the job profile and accepted the offer. They didn't have any experience in hiring employees in Singapore. Even though the process was already going on for 4 months, they never cared to set up their hiring flow. Took a month extra to do that so that they can hire foreign employees in Singapore. Then they applied for the pass with a wrong profile and the pass got rejected. I kept repeatedly telling them that the profile is wrong and submit a new application with correct profile but they kept assuring that they're looking into it and advised patience with no need to worry. Wasted two months in the process with no transparency, denied any information about the rejection reasons even though they knew it (later admitted that the reason was known). Meanwhile, they already included me in business details and getting me ready to start. I let go of other job offers and opportunities. Suddenly, they come back saying we are terminating the job offer as we don't want to allocate more resources to this job. Even if there is a solution we don't want to try and submit a new application (with the correct profile) even if it works. The higher management all stopped replying and only HR became the face for information. They started putting blame on my credentials for the rejection instead of realizing the actual reason, wasted almost 7 months with no respect for all the commitments made and responses like one should not be relying on one offer and expect things to work out (which sane company says that). Even the recruiter tried to convey solutions but to no end and was ignored throughout after all the long commitments made. Totally unethical and unprofessional behaviour. Don't recommend the company at all. If you try, consider it a risk. Even if the hiring goes well, small turns of events can swing their commitment and you'll be left on your own.
