I applied online, got a call back and had a brief phone interview. A week later, they called me in for an onsite interview. It was impossible to prepare and research about the position because the qualifications, languages, and skills were not stated in the job description. I was waiting 45 minutes in the lobby for the interviewers to show up. When I was finally escorted into the room they informed me that the senior manager was on vacation and will not be present in the interview. They told me that day/week was a good time to meet with IT managers and staff. The questions they asked me did not seem organized as they just asked about my web projects, which are clearly stated with details on my resume. The interview was extremely easy and no technical questions were asked, which obstructed me from displaying my skills. After the interview, I always send a thank you email, asking for feedback and next steps in the hiring process. They seemed very nice but I never received a reply from any of the interviewers. Because there is no description about their preferred skills in the job postings, I want to help future applicants. They do not use a complex database and only work with web developers in HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. They were unfamiliar with Swift and Apple's frameworks, and even xAPI which they actually use within the company to manipulate and store data for sales and performance support (didn't understand why I knew this but they didn't). Although, they work with Java and web tools, they were not open to discuss Python and XML, AIML, or other markup languages. The only project they were fully interested in was my portfolio website.
