I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bell Plantation (Towcester, England) in Sept 2022
Interview
Overall process was fine, fast and very easy going. Was set two tasks to complete. The first was to create a poster to promote a garden furniture range of theirs which was enjoyable to do - but the poor photos that they have on their website massively limited creativity and i'm not sure the hiring lady was very technologically savvy as she seemed a bit clueless, so probably not the most appropriate interviewer to have. Second task was to write 5 top tips on how to prepare your garden for winter and take an accompanying photograph. Also an enjoyable task, but looking at their Instagram now, they clearly wanted someone that takes very similar photos to the last social media assistant, and they pull in 4-58 likes for a page with 4k followers, so clearly not a good choice.
