In depth interview with several members of the management team. Asked job specific questions and it seemed promising because of the follow-up questions they asked through email after the interview and the fact that they promised me they, and I quote, "wouldn't ghost me" and would contact me about the outcome of filling the open position even if I wasn't the one they're offering the position to. They ended up asking for professional references over email which I promptly responded to and I never heard back from them again. I know for a fact that the references I gave them said nothing about me that would compromise my chances of gaining employment in that position.
