Applied online. Received a call about a week later from the manager to schedule an interview. Interviewed by both the Operations Manager and the Geek Squad manager. Interview was about 30 minutes and focused on your abilities to complete the tasks at hand and your contribution to the company. Two days later, I received a call from the Operations Manager stating that he would like to hire me. Accepted the offer, and gave me a brief explanation over the phone about pay. Then he scheduled me to come in for orientation. Orientation consisted of a group of others applying for different positions within the store and applied to the work ethics and goals of the company.

How would you handle a situation with an angry customer?
After finding a position posted on indeed, online application was submitted. I was called in for an interview after a few days. Standard questions - "Why Best Buy?", "Tell me about a time you dealt with a troublesome coworker", "What technical problem that you solved that nobody else was able to?", interview took less than 15 minutes. Called back 2 days later for another interview with similar questions. 3 Days later I received an offer for the position.

Interview
I applied online, the next day I was called to set up an interview. The day after that I met with a manager and completed my interview. They liked me, so they got the general manager to complete my second interview the same day. The GM liked me, so he offered me the job on the spot. We negotiate pay, and I accepted the offer. Whole process took 3 days. After this, I had to complete background check and drug screen process prior to reporting to work.

None. Almost every question I was asked It started with, "describe a time where.... (then the question)".; ex. would be - dealt with irate customer.

Interview
The interview process was bleak and non-informative. I always thought that Geek Squad was going to be an amazing opportunity, but the interview gave way to a different perspective. They asked the typical retail interview questions without any feeling or excitement as if they were used to the routine and left me with feelings of second guessing what I was getting into exactly.
