Betterment Software Engineer interview questions

There was no conversation with a hiring manager and was immediately thrown into an interview with an EM despite their initial email called for introductory conversation. Interviewer never asked about my experience, instead spent 15 mins talking about himself and then jumped into some generic questions. Compensation was never mentioned once and was not included in the job posting (illegal in the state of NY) overall it was a negative experience, the recruiter was very cold & incompetent.

Had on campus interview, worked on pair programming problems for 40 minutes and asked/was asked some questions about experience and the role. After the interview the reach out for a phone round and another round of interviews. Then there's a possibility of interviews at their office in NY.
