The interview process was very laid back. I was asked about my experience but, mostly they seemed concerned more with my availability.
The manager seems like a very nice guy & the interview didn't very long.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked if I was completely available or if I had other obligations like college.
I was also asked if working weekends would be a problem at all or sometimes coming in at 4 in the morning to unload trucks/stock.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Big Lots (Austintown, OH) in Jun 2014
Interview
The interview process was very brief. I met directly with the store manager and we discussed the every day duties of the job I was applying for. He specifically told me that he did not put up for gossipy individuals. I walked out of the interview with 2 shirts and a tour of the backroom with my own locker.
