The interview was pretty standard, no complaints. Quick turnaround time, multistaged interview but did not get past the first interview. Directors are very level-headed and easy going and seem easy to work with.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boom Supersonic
Interview
Heard back after about a month for the initial screening with the recruiter, then took about a week to get to the interview stage with the hiring team. Interview started with brief introductions, then they went through my resume. They're trying to figure out exactly what you know/don't know, so they'll get really detailed with the resume.
I applied online. I interviewed at Boom Supersonic in Oct 2025
Interview
- 20 min long phone screen to introduce each other, ask about my prior projects and why I'm applying, and what I'd be interested in doing
- zoom interview with SMEs to ask more question about previous projects and discipline-specific substance.
- Facility tour, onsite presentation, and multiple 1 on 1 interviews. You'll present on something you know well or are interested in. They quiz you for your understanding and presentation and WILL find out exactly what you do/don't know. 1-on-1 interviews are super chill and are moderately technical
