The process was pretty straight-forward; initial outreach via email by hiring mgr, phone screen with glowing "you sound perfect for what we need!" followed by onsite-- all within 2 weeks. The onsite was bizarre; the hiring manager dressed like she was going clubbing later (got to show off those new thigh tattoos...right?) and the entire environment seemed painfully unprofessional, as if certain roles were filled by how "hot" the candidates looked as opposed to substance. This was confirmed as 4 out of the 6 people I interviewed with (back-to-back) were relatively new to the company and didn't really have much to ask me; which helped me lead the conversation, but it was almost like a training session as opposed to an interview. I was very clear that I needed to return to my office after the interviews, and set aside 5 hours total...but even that wasn't enough since every interviewer showed up late and ran over (despite my gentle reminders of "well, it looks like we have 5 minutes left here and I want to be respectful of your time and the next interviewer...always met with, "oh, that's OK! We're having a good conversation!") After the last scheduled interview, the hiring manager came waddling back in and sat down as if she wanted to chat yet again, so we spent yet another 10 minutes talking about generalities. I was sincerely underwhelmed by the process, the VERY dark/gloomy office, the unprofessional attitude/demeanor of the people there and the complete lack of privacy for anyone's work environment, so I did not follow-up after this interview, and never heard back from them either.
