Brightflag Lead Generation Manager interview questions

Spoke with marketing director over the phone and was asked to come in asap for a face to face interview and complete a simple task provided in the interview. Subsequently was asked for and provided 3 references, who were each called and interviewed over the following week. Followed up a week later to be told that despite "fantastic" references they were moving in another direction. When pressed as to why they had not made that decision before speaking with the 3 references, no satisfactory answer could be provided. Time-wasters.
